So a brief intro about myself. My given name is Chris Bergmann I'm 37 and live on Long Island in NY. Been riding since I was 17 years old. Started on sport bikes and as I got older and formed a semi functional brain I moved to cruisers.

I have a wonderful family, I've been with my wife Sue since I was 15 years old. Also have a 6 year old son who is my best friend.

I've ridden with Doof members a bunch of times. Smart Dave, ScabbyDoo and Dizzy to name a few. I attended the last two Pocono PA meetups.

This past weekend unbeknownst to me I was given the nickname Captain41, so although my forum name is Optimus (as in optimus prime from transformers) you may see me sign Captain41 to my posts. The long and short is I wore a Captain America jersey to the pool with the #41 on the back. Hence Captain Dumb Ass, ergo Captain41 for short. I love it and it seems to have stuck : )

I love riding, I love the open roads and the freedom associated with it. Us motorcyclists share a special bond and the road has brought us all together. Every member that I have ridden with has been warm and welcoming. Proud to call them friends.
