Been wanting to complete this mod for quite some time. The radio had developed the dreaded 2011 vibration damage on the board and couldn't put up with it cutting out any longer. Sent the radio off to Iron Cross and had the LED's changed at the same time. Speedo and Tack were sent to Gage Modz in Michigan on a Monday, got them back on Friday.. Damn. The oil pressure and volt gauges were bulb replacements from Superbrite LED's.

I can read the radio at night now. That stock red color no matter how I adjusted the contrast sucked.

I too have problems seeing some "red" (orange) back lighted stuff, not all just some.

Like the green. Have blue on my Vic and it as well is much easier to see than red.
