Tube type needed

Anyone happen to know which type valve placement to order for my new to me wheels. I see a threaded valve in the wheel that still has a tire mounted but need to know if its strait, offset placement or a 90 degree bend set up. I hope the pics make it, but they are OEM inset spoke style

MegaGlide 05-14-2018 06:51 AM

Uh, the valve would be on the tube, no?

par_fore 05-14-2018 07:37 AM

Yep! Spoked wheels require tubes. The threads are on the stem on the tube and I believe that is for a retaining nut to hold said stem and tube in place so nothing moves and kinks while inflating.

Turbo Turtle 05-14-2018 09:21 AM

I wished to know what type valve on the tube as their are several types. Strait threaded, 90 degree threaded are the two potentials that I'm trying to confirm before I order new ones today. I'll take and educated guess and pose the same to the retailer.
Thanks bunches

Yep, he does.

Hope he figures out what kind of tube he's gonna need for the rear wheel, too.........

Oh, I think he'll need a couple of those rubber inner rim strips, too.

Maybe not.

Thanks guys. I got lucky on the phone with J&P and they're hooking me up with the offset stems. I got lucky and found these wheels off an 06' RK for sale on FB market place ads in Dallas for $150.00. I drove down the next morning to pick them up. I have ordered a new MU-85 Commander II for the rear, and my favorite front the Shinko 777. Tires, tubes and rim strips for just under $300.
On a side note, I just found a Sig 365 And have it on hold till Friday.
:woohoo:
