Front end head shake
Moderate, really, speeds.
Both hands off the bars and I get a shake. Bars oscillating. Stops the instant I apply any touch. Ideas? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |
Tire cupping or head bearing adjustment. Mine is typically a result of cupping.
|
Got rid of that on my '06 RG when I tightened the head bearings to the tight end of the, head bearing, swing away adjustment. Grease them up first via the grease zerk fitting. Then adjust.
Mine was shaking at any speed below forty MPH. |
Mine was the front tire.
|
Front tire if cupped or worn.
|
New or cupped front tire, mine did it.
|
mine was the bearings.
Tightened them up to specs, and no more wobble. Do you hear a thud when rolling slow (walking speed) and applying front brake hard? |
