What's The Proper British Term

For "Basket Case"?
Fun times ahead! 1956 A10 BSA 650 twin. Front fender is the only thing that I KNOW is missing. Baskets, tubs, geeze, I don't know if this will ever get done. I think those fork legs will need some Brillo.Attachment 61074Attachment 61075Attachment 61076http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/29/duhydy6y.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/29/u5ypa2uz.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/29/mu7a7upu.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/29/vedasyru.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/29/2upyva6u.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/29/eseby8ym.jpg |
Isn't the proper response to announcements of this type:
That'll buff right out. :) Have fun with your new toy. I wholeheartedly believe in your power to out think metal. |
Ah hell, rub some dirt on it, it'll be fine.
(Actually, as Brits go, I've brought back worse, that does looks pretty complete) Have fun! ( British Cycle Supply, and British Only are great places to start) |
A bloody lot of work.

Definitely a period "correct" tail light...:whistling:

I like that wooden box some of the parts are in. Is it salvageable? Don't throw it out until I see it.
|
I believe the British term is still "Basket Case"
I wish you my best on resurrecting that one from the dead:whistling: BOB:blink: |
I think the proper British term is "Piece of Schiyte"
|
Whoa Man.... You persevere thru that and my hat is off to you!! A challenge is fun but thats
Best of luck and look forward to the results.... Dirk |

Good luck Ricky. |
Duct tape and JB Weld, good as new! :) lol

Sheeeesh Ricky, my 441 Victor isn't anywhere near that bad off. It's 'mostly' together but is going to need quite a bit of TLC. Found most of the parts I need but still looking for a speedo and a couple other items. If you find a good source for BSA parts, let me know.

I will, Tom. Just starting to get my feet wet.
