My 2 day workweek was so stressful I slept late
2 day, about 12 hours, then off the rest of the week.
My Josh needed a new pulmonary valve, so on Wed the Docs in the cath lab: - Did a full cardiac workup - evaluated a narrowing in his aorta, moderate, not a current surgical candidate for that again -re-expanded the large stent in his left pulmonary branch artery -tried to break the wires holding previous valve #4 in place to make more room, no luck. - stented the area under valves 4 and 5 -and finally, placed a new valve inside of #5 which is inside of #4 Went in at 730, done by 3, and awake and alert by 345 |
Hope the recovery and new parks are working well.

He is doing well.
I love modern medicine! Next time he needs something though, it is gonna be open heart again. We are past reasonable limits and his current valve is a bit smaller than ideal, but way better then what he was using. |
Also, Thank you everyone.
