I hope my wife doesn't see this. There is no telling what color she would chose to adorn her popgun.

Am loving my 4Runner, the closest thing they have to replace the FJ.

Larger cargo area for those far away shopping excursions.


Pretty much it has the same sounds emitting from the muffler area that sound like the rear axle is going out, not as loud tho. My FJ had that noise from day 1 to 212,000 miles later. Placement of everything in the drivers seat is almost doppelganger like.

Drives and handles very FJ like, will have to do a trip into Bodie via one of the trails to see how that goes.


I do miss the little display on top of the dash, a little, and the drivers junk compartment on top of the instrument cluster...

It was sitting on a (shortened?) 4Runner chassis, IIRC.

Have you replaced a water pump on one of those with the 2.0 hour flat rate time and it has A/C?
