Well, not exactly "New" new, but new to me. Y'all have seen my basket '74 Trident in this thread, and I've collected a bit of parts and done a little work to it as $$$ allowed. Well, we've finally been able to crawl out of the "dead broke" hole, and I've started to restore it.
First things first, I spent about a day on Flea-bay bookmarking and bidding on all kinds of stuff. Then it happened................ I spotted................ THIS!!! She's a 1972 Trident, non-matching number bike. It was listed at a buy it now price or best offer. The seller accepted my offer!! Bought it from a fella in Michigan, and it's on the transport truck as I type this. Scheduled delivery is for 2:00 tomorrow (Friday) afternoon. Believe it or not, I got the complete bike for a few hundred more than my local brit restorer had quoted me to do just the engine and transmission on my '74. So, now I've TWO Tridents! |
