Story.......

I drive an '01 GMC Sierra pickup, ordered it new, it's got 151K miles on it. Runs and drives real good, but it's startin' to show some rust.

Can't afford nice used or new, so the decision was made to fix stuff up and run the truck for a few more years at least.

The truck's been at the body shop for a week now. Rust repair on the left quarter, top rail of the front of the box, plus a new hood (as the old wasn't salvageable), and some refinishing of the roof and tops of the right doors as the clear coat was coming off.

Top shelf body shop in Kenosha did the work. The shop does race cars and lots of old car restorations, along with accident repairs.

Plus they've painted tins on the 'b' that I boo-booed.......:doh:

Got the call today, the truck is ready to be picked up. Bill needs paid, so I rode up there, handed over the cash (as cash is King), got the keys and headed for home.

Been meanin' to take a pic of these signs as they ain't far from the body shop.

Today was the day.

I'll go back in a few, after mrs. o gets home from work, and bring the truck home.

The truck turned out real purdy.

A few more years and it'll be an antique........
