2000 Touring Inner Primary
 

Does anyone know if there is an actual difference between the 2000 & down inner primary and the HD part # 60739-01 (OEM HD chrome inner primary) listed for 2001-2006 touring bikes???? I cannot find a part # for a chrome 2001 & down bike. I guess the 2000 Y2K bikes are a bastard year....
I cant even find an actual 2000 take off core on e-bay to get chromed...

Is anything stamped on them? Heads have year they were made and oldest year they will work with. I recently learned this.

Since the inner primary is only for 01-06, I would be reluctant to buy one. But I have no idea whats differant. I got an 01, if there is something I can look at, let me know. Got some pics of when it was off too.

Not sure if something was changed mid year, or if B means anything.

2000 was a switch over year. Second year for TC's in baggers, first B motor..... call your stealer for parts help with this one.

My local stealer is supposedly calling milwaukee for a ruling on this.....I'm NOT holding my breath...

What year did they get rid of the grease fitting in the inner priamry for the shifter??

I am curious what changed on primary between 2000-2001. The rear cam beaing changed:whistling:
