Can't decide between ceramic coating the V&H Short Shots that are on there now or putting these on...

Don't watch it or it'll never dry!

Redleg 05-02-2010 07:04 PM

Don't worry, the painted items are at my friend's house several miles away. Will be picking them up after work tomorrow.

mine says "STOP" though....

here is an excellent source for replacement parts for it......i know this well...:whistling:

And I agree on the classic look with the pipes. The headers are original FXDX and the slash cuts were a P&H item - eBay find.

Have looked at that site, actually! Better prices than some of the other dealers. Mine came wrapped in a Japanese newspaper.

if you need parts for that light they will be for a Model "A" Ford...keep in mind the glass is very fragile, and doesn't take well to vibration......last time i got 2 of them, as well as 2 cork gaskets, and a retaining ring.....completely solid ever since:DD

Is it dry yet?:coffee:

Redleg 05-05-2010 09:48 PM

The newly altered and painted parts will have to wait another week or two. There are some places that need some touch-up and I need to do some wiring for the new taillight.
