d j and I have been playing phone/e-mail tag with the proprietoress of a local inn. Therefore, info regarding lodging is pending......

I've set aside a block of six rooms, three queen bed, three king bed, at the Hickory Hill Motel in Viroqua, WI.

Rooms are $65/night for the queen, $68/night for the king. Taxes extra (like 5%).

The rooms are all in one back building of the motel, and will be held until June 16.

Since we live only a short ride away and have a cabin in Rockton to stay at, we wouldn't be needin' a room in Viroqua. It is a neat area to ride and Viroqua is a quaint little town.


This is another neat little gathering in the area later in the summer.

We have a reservation at the hotel. I'll still go.

As with most of my plans, it is dependent on outside issues. I'd love to be there for that ride, but can't say much yet as it is pretty far out on the calendar yet.

Just got off the phone with Suzanne. She's got three rooms left in one of the back buildings. d j and I have confirmed rooms there. She'll hold 'em as long as she can, but after July 1, whatever's available now will be released to the general public.

Three-ish weeks away.

Goin' to the Lorum Ipsum Vintage Motorcycle Rally during the day. They've added a few food vendors, and wine tasting, too.

Not that wine is our cup of tea.

Was a pretty good show last year, in a nice location.

And the rally has added Hickory Hill Motel, our hosts, as theirs as well. Should be some neat stuff in the parking lot afterwards.
