Not Enough Sportster Models
So, the MoCo introduced the seventh model today
Say hello to the Roadster. Vestigial fenders, clip on bars... oh, itsa bobber! That's not been done, right? Actually, reading THIS ARTICLE, it has more going for it than I realized. |
I like it, but.....
That's an awful lot of money for a non-XR Sporty that'll get its butt handed to it by a Street 750. |
How long will they keep producing the EVO?

One small problem, the Sportster, it's small...monkey and a football. Just sayin'.

You know, they could put some better heads and more aggressive cams in that thing.
Do a two-into-one tuned exhaust and mount the can similar to the XR. Maybe call it an High Output Evo. And get rid of that gawd-awful side mounted license plate. They could leave a little bit more of that rear fender, maybe make it more of a tail section, have a frenched-in taillight, hang the license plate there, put little bullet turn signals on the front and back. Make those turn signals high output LEDs. Little lights that throw a lot of light. Enuff to make the Feds happy. The rest of it I'd leave alone. Make the rear sets an option. It would then be a cool little roadster/sportster. And offer it in solid red or solid black. I think the matte stuff is icky. Get them young-uns into the Harley shop......... |
