Got it. The cable to the jack on the left side, for the passnger intercom stuff was in the way.
I may just pull that cable and tywrap it back, the jack is alwasy gertting caught on stuff.

Like i said extend the shaft 1/8". Plus use a hex nut on the shaft to tighten it, instead of flatside washer. The funky washer probably looks cooler. But its under the seat.

The bracket was on the bottom of the seat. Thats what I thought at first, but when looking at the black and white pics, it just didn't look like right.
