I rode a neighbors bike similar to this one back in 2005 when he loaned it to us for my visiting B.I.L. It was nerve wracking at best. We spent a 1/2 day finding and replacing missing nuts/bolts and tightening those that were loose. It didn't make a difference, but at least the tank stayed in place during our 150 mile ride to the wall for Memorial Day. I never asked to ride it again.
