This really needs to all start off of one base map, to ever work out. say if I do texas, thats great, but if in my mind the best route across texas starts in one place and ends in another and the person who does NM doesnt end near where I start and the same with OK or AR or Louisiana starts and ends somewhere else then you could have thousands of miles out of the way just to get to where the next person starts... am I making sense of what I mean?

I think the concept is great... maybe it just needs to be done by each person google mapping the best "rides in his or nearby states" and then someone else combines them for efficiency from one state to the next to make the most sense.

at any rate, I'm on board with the concept, just troubled by the execution of not being coordinated

and while I have no doubt I could map out a damn good ride in TX I really think someone from down south nearer that damn good riding could probably do it better, since I'm several hundred miles from TX's best rides.
