I had the entire rear suspension apart today to lube all the various bolts and bearings....You think Harley goes cheap with steering head grease? Holy balls, there was no lube anywhere on the needle bearings in the swingarm or various suspension bits.
Anyhoo, since I had the rear wheel off I decided to balance the tire I'd mounted 800 or so miles ago. The heavy spot was directly opposite of the valve stem, and it took a fair amount of weight (16 1/8 oz. weights). The weather sucked today, but I'll report back if I can feel any difference.
