Normally I can get this kind of thing done with heat and vise grips. I think i still could have done it with heat, if i had acetylene. But all I had on hand was MAPP gas. I tried that several times over a span of 1/2 hour. Nada. Went to the parts store and got it done in 1 minute with this tool.
