It would still be a prudent thing to clean and reformat the C drive whilst your at it. While your browser won't store cookies and the like, your C drive still collects that and more. Don't click to open any attachments your not expecting to recieve from someone either.
Their might also be some updates available for your operating system. update if your comfortable where the updates are coming from. if worried, google foo works wonders.
