Who hasn't been to Galena, KS yet?

I haven't, so I put together a proposed ES '18 day ride for those who wanna follow taillights.

Old Route 66 runs 13 miles through Kansas, so all of that is on the ride. We'll ride some of old 66 in Nebraska, too, along with a smidgen in Missouri.

One option would be to push a bit farther south and west of Miami, OK to ride/look at some original Rt. 66 'Sidewalk Highway'.

Some of MO 43 is on the ride, too.

A stop or two is planned in Neosho, which has a historic courthouse square/downtown and a nice city park featuring a natural spring.

Then there's some running past poultry farms and countryside. A couple three twisty roads are included as well.

Total mileage is around 225. Places to stop for food and gas are plentiful.

Route at the route linky, followed by other sites/sights to see.......

<route linky>

Sidewalk Highway, Miami, OK

Rainbow Bridge, Baxter Springs, KS

More than several sights in Galena

Home of Tow Mater

Big Spring Park, Neosho

Downtown Neosho

Oughta keep those interested in killing a day busy.

Ponder. Mull it over. Flip a coin.

Recommendations encouraged!
