Rat Bagger Grips

Needed new grips fast a while back. I've gotten the more substantial replacements, but want to see how many miles I get out of these...

Some of you will recognize this as my next step in the transition of my '03 Road Glide (you know, the Road Glide is nearly the most popular bike on the forum... ) to a "Rat Bagger" inspired by a pic Big Swede posted a year or so back.

I'll eventually replace the 100th anniversary paint scheme with rhino liner, get black wrapped pipes, black out a bunch of chrome chit, and make other changes to reach that sublimely low maintenance aesthetic of a rat bike. Thus, a "Rat Bagger!"

I'll make the changes over time as things need to be fixed/replaced. Here's the first low budget Mod...

Duct Tape Grips (part # RW-001-43)



This doesn't do the deterioration justice. They were really getting gummy and little bits were coming off in the palms of my gloves at an increasingly significant rate. The other side was worse and even had hole in the rubber -- but I forgot a "before" pic...
