Needed new grips fast a while back. I've gotten the more substantial replacements, but want to see how many miles I get out of these...
Some of you will recognize this as my next step in the transition of my '03 Road Glide (
you know, the Road Glide is nearly the most popular bike on the forum... 
) to a "Rat Bagger" inspired by a pic Big Swede posted a year or so back.
I'll eventually replace the 100th anniversary paint scheme with rhino liner, get black wrapped pipes, black out a bunch of chrome chit, and make other changes to reach that sublimely low maintenance aesthetic of a rat bike. Thus, a "Rat Bagger!"
I'll make the changes over time as things need to be fixed/replaced. Here's the first low budget Mod...
