Yep, lots of middle of nowhere NV.
Fallon to, Eureka, to Austin NV are 100 +/- (more plus) apart, then to Delta UT is a pretty barren stretch of a good 150 miles on US 50 from Ely NV.
Wild horses, Burros, Antelope, deer and elk occasionally. Pucker brush, (sage & rabbit), stands of Pinyon, CA & UT Juniper trees / brush.
And this year I hear there is an awesome crop of Mormon crickets everywhere in NV.
