How not to load a bike on a trailer. . .
I did exactly what Troy told me not to do. I don't know if the tie down on the left side wasn't locked or what, but as I tightened the right side it pulled the bike over. She fell in slow motion, I could see it happening, but I couldn't stop it. I am so totally pissed at myself! What's even worse is there is no way I could get her up by myself. I called Joe, the Seminole police officer/truancy officer/restaurant owner/lawn care man. He was there within five minutes flat with back up. No, I'm not hurt, but Tawanda as a nice crease in her gas tank on the right side. Did I mention I was pissed?!?

Sorry that happened Tonya! Good thing you were putting her on the trailer to go to the shop for some work instead of out for a long ride.

He did ask what he could do to help. . .

Not only do you need help when loading, need some when you unload too. When you release a strap on one side, it will pull it the opposite direction pretty quick. I've perfected it by loading/unloading by myself by sitting on it as i strap and unstrap it, but luckily I've got the long arms and legs to do it.
Sorry it happened, at least you weren't hurt. I wonder if those paintless dent doctor places could help ya with that crease? Might be worth a call......

So sorry to hear of your troubles, but I'm also happy to hear that you weren't hurt. Tawanda can be repaired much easier than you.

I am so sorry to hear that, T.
She'll heal, with a little prescription steel and paint...
