mikes called me a couple days before and said he would be in the area, and wondered if he could stop by for a few. he said he wasn't going to be staying long since he was on his trip home after 3 weeks on the road. well he called yesterday about 5.....ish, so i threw a leg over the mistress and rode up the road 22 miles to meet him, and get him to the house. he was greeted with hugs by amy and cold beer from the fridge. we went for some of that fine mexican cuisine that they have here in the big city of salem. then it was back to La Casa for more adult beverages, laughs, and conversation. i ended up going to bed around 12:30 a.m. and was just a tad late for work this morning.....but i'll tell you it was so worth it to spend time with a great individual like mikey.....
