I am just curious about the level of concern among forum members.

I tend to see it as a growing world wide problem, but not one of major concern. Unless it evolves into something more deadly, I intend to take precautions and continue to live my life as usual.

The current flu strain, here in Arizona, has already killed 200 people in my county alone this year.

The news media has certainly fueled the panic fire.

I am 75, in good health, and have a planned trip to Italy in April.
Unless things change for the worse it's still a go.

I'm not concerned in the least. I do my diligence and wash my hands and such but I don't see it as anything but a new stronger flu virus. We are not "germ" phobic and don't worry about exposure. It's just God culling the herd, and if I'm called so be it.

Will take the precautions of washing and such.


The problem will be "cleaning staff" sorts that won't follow directions or not use disinfectants correctly.



Ponder upon the TV remote in most motels / hotels, how clean is it...




Then there is the partisan players in play, some elected official in Denver posted to social media, that if she catches it, she wants to attend all MAGA rally's to help thin that group of people.



What the heck is wrong with some people, just because they didn't get their way...

I’m more of a germaphobe than I used to be, but not that concerned about it. The media is whipping everybody into a frenzy over it, in an attempt to make it a political football.

I’ve talked to people who are convinced it’s the Black Plague of the 21st century. Then they go to eat at Taco Bell or McDonalds.

I'll take the reasonable and recommended precautions and 'keep an ear to the ground' regarding spread/escalation of the outbreak.

The media is really drumming up the fear, hate and panic.



Today's slant is South Korea has better testing and treatment (cure?) than us here in America.


Kind of like a bunch of cattle rustlers stampeding the herd in the middle of the night to, to rustle some of the herd undetected in all the confusion.



I read a story on Babylon Bee if you spread Chic Fil A sauce on your door lintel the angel of corona will pass your house up....
