"Last Rider To a Turn" rule.

One of the complaints about riding in a group is, "Riders at the back of a group often get lost when they become temporarily separated from the group and consequently miss a turn that has been made". This is where the "Last Rider To a Turn" rule comes into effect.

When riding in a group, every rider must be aware of the rider behind them. If the group makes a turn, you need to check to make sure the rider behind you has also made the turn. If they (and any subsequent riders behind them) have become separated from the group and are not immediately (easily visible) behind you upon making the turn, you must stop in a visible yet safe location after making the turn and wait for them. This will ensure those riders will not miss the turn and end up lost. Should the group make another turn before you and the remainder of the group catch up, the rider that was in front of you when you stopped should now do the same and so on. Utilizing this group riding strategy will ensure the entire group will arrive at the final destination.

And, always remember the Cardinal Rule when riding in a group or with a buddy: Never, repeat NEVER, leave a fellow rider behind!!!
