A tour of CVO at York plant today.
Put on about 220 miles today, just over half of it in the rain.
Rode out with members of our HOG chapter to visit the York plant. It was a special "Dealer Invitation Only" tour set up by our sponsoring dealer and gave us an opportunity not many have, a tour of the CVO operations and assembly. While assembly lines in the Touring and Softail plant are much like those in auto plants with the vehicle moved along the assembly line past various stations where workers assemble/add various parts of the bike, in the CVO facility the each bike is assemble from start to finish by a team of two. Very different, very interesting.

That's cool Scabby! I did not realize the CVO bikes were built by a team of two. Makes me look at the custom part of custom vehicle operations in a different light. I always just thought they were assembly line bikes with custom parts. Guess they really are a custom build.
