It's a slippery slope these mods. I try to make them practical, comfort and capacity is what I went for. The SPO's, well, thats something that had to be done. Safety mods are next I think. I have some lighting changes in mind. Halogens up front and the rear T/S running and brake light convesion rear. No additional lights, though. Ultra's come pretty busy on both ends as it is I think.

I am going to go to 55w in passing lamps, like my 01 has. Probably 100/110 for head light. For my FLHR I want to get the kit to convert blinkers to brake lights, just not sure which to get.
As far as the pegs go I have been using them for years. I really beleive multiple postions will keep you in the saddle longer. When I did 900 mile days, I forced myself to keep moving. legs and arms, switching what hand was on the bar, every so many minutes wether I wanted to or not. Keep switching. |
