I suggest we run clockwise. It's a faster way to Austin. Then we can play after the Spam Museum.

Otherwise, OK?

I just checked some of the stuff in lower Houston Co. MN. Was curious if County 2 out of Eitzen was gravel or pavement.

It's paved. Bituminous.

Cool.

See if you can take Friday off, too.

You can pre-run some of the loop with me.

More danglin' carrots.......

If'n the first route don't strike yer fancy, I've tweaked this some to include more tasty Minnesota road goodness.

MN 16 is noted as one of the finer scenic motorcycling routes in the area, so we're plannin' to ride a good bit of that, and will include more Mississippi River-Great River Road tastiness......

Same miles as v1.

<SPAM loop v2>

Have you been overwhelmed yet????????

One added attraction is The Great Race is going on that weekend, starting in St Paul with Saturday night stop in LaCrosse so we might see some cool cars around.

Also, after talking with several who've ridden some of the roads I've chosen for the route in MN, I think we're gonna avoid MN 16 for the most part. Lots of 'out-of-town' traffic on that road on the weekends and there's plenty of viable, more better alternates to get us where we wanna go.
