Nah, I don't want to start a national panic. If all those people who live on the east and west coasts start moving to the center of the country to get away from encroaching oceans as the continent subsides, the migration will lessen the weight along the coasts and cause both sides of the country to flip up at the edges, throwing people in all sorts of directions.
