Target practice
We went to the southern Big Horn Mountains on Tuesday and stopped to let my eight year old grandson shoot clay pigeons out of the sagebrush. When a piece about an inch square remained stuck in the branches, he asked his dad if he should shoot it out. Dad said, well, you can try. Pop! It was gone. Another generation of marksmen in the family.

Well done, well done...... Is truly a nice feeling bringing the next generation into the fold.
I've even started giving away firearms that I thought were so precious to the kids so I can see them enjoy them, gives that weird warm & fuzzy feeling.... Getting old. Dirk

Get old, get sentimental, Dirk. When my dad died, I inherited his beloved "pistola" along with a good half of the rest of his collection. As a former LEO, he carried it with him wherever he went. When I gave it to my son, there were tears on both our parts. My son carried it on the ranch for years.
