Funny thing is, I doubt if All in the Family would ever air in this day and age. Methinks we've lost the ability to laugh at ourselves, and, worse yet, many fail to recognize the humor in poking fun at stereotypes.
Ribbing someone with humor is much different than racism. I play a monthly poker game with a bunch of guys who kid each other pretty unmercifully, but it's all in fun.
