23700 miles on this Dunlop E-3
Almost didnt make it home, was a tiger in the last day of our trip in the rain, singing like hell in the turns and in left sweepers it was all over the place, but, got great service life out of it and it performed well up to about 18000. Size is MU90B16, Im sold. Ive never seen a rear tire last this long.

I get that kind of life out of my Dunlop D407.

Boy, I'll say. Never got more than 14k out of a rear E3.

I'm getting comparable mileage (in excess of 14K before getting tired of the singing).
But I changed a tire for a friend this past week. It was an American Elite on his 2010 (I think) Ultra. Only 12K miles and it was down to the wear bars. Odd, I thought. Ken |

Glad it worked for you, but there's no way I'd ride a tire down to that little tread.

That is very impressive mileage.
I was looking at the 407 on mine this morning and if it makes 12K I'll be surprised. May try an American Elite then.

I probably should have changed it before this last trip but ...........I didnt. It just kept going and going and going, first to have one make it that far for me, I checked the mileage at change to verify and my math is correct, amazing, most I ever got was 18k before.

Got a little over 17K on the same sized E3 on the 'b'. Still got a couple of thirty-seconds left before it hits the wear bars.
New E3 is sitting here in inventory, patiently waiting it's turn........

12K on the one I had. Good enough millage but slide on me more than any tire ever before, or since. I had some fun and some hair raising times with the new found ability to make it break loose at the blip of the throttle from my bone stock 88ci.
Depending on the longevity and traction, This new 888 might be better, but I cannot judge with only 300 mi. on it. I will report on it at a later time BOB
