Things I'd hafta change if I bought a '09 Ultra
rode one today for about 30 miles.....



windshield...dont like looking through the stock one

seat....to high and close to the tank and to soft

motor.....stock 96" is a pooch

tranny.....whine in 5th and LOUDEST shifting tranny I've ever shifted

instrument cluster....to pedestrian

bars.....to mainstream


other than that its a great scoot

Your gonna lose your ass on your bike. Modify it. Its barely broke in.

What the point in having a fairing if you are gonna put those bars on it? They will not keep your hands warm or dry. Your gonna need to switch em back to sell it, anyways.

Maybe you need to face facts, you are on a bagger. No matter what you do to it, it will be a bagger. It will never be a chopper.

My hands dont get cold and I dont care if they get wet.....just got back from a 2200 mile trip.....plenty of rain.....no problems for me....maybe for you but then again I'm not tellin you how to outfit YOUR bike.....I cant ride with those goofy azz low bars....hurts my shoulder.....Apes rule....you'll never get it.......had 2 choppers (neither w/apes).......comfort baby
