Time thoughts

Not to get too philosophical but I was thinking about time today, I mostly listen to the music of the 60's and realized that the 60's were over 60 years ago. That's equates to living in the 60's and digging music from 1902
I think I'm getting old !

Back in the sixties, I did dig music from the turn of the century. Heck, one of my favorite past times in junior high was collecting music from the Civil War. I was a weird little kid.

I'd hate to tell you how many of those I know most or all of the words to.

I too remember the lyrics to a lot of those songs. I guess I currently favor songs pre-1978.

Hell, to this day I still love 'Big Band' music from the late 30's and 40's. Glenn Miller is one of my favorites.

I am guessing a lot of us are young at heart but old in taste.

Dang, not doing the math, still listen to a lot of Earnest Tubb, Bob Wills and Hank Sr. Our poor neighbours get subjected to the occasional Saturday evening serenade by us…….
