AN Sucker Issue

Noticed a lot of oily grime on the back of the backplate the other day. Pulled it off to investigate and here is what I found.

Cut into the passage. I know from the previous owner it was installed at a HD dealer. I can't imagine anyone not noticing at manufacture or install. Sent a message and pics to Ness. No reply. If you have one on, and didn't do the install yourself, you might take a gander at it.

Sorry...hate to say it and don't mean to offend anyone or their bike but the AN stuff is junk. There are threads on every forum about the back plates cracking. I've had 6 screamin eagle backplates (different bikes) and have never had a problem.
