Been awhile, started putting her back together.

I'd like to say that I polished the gauge nacelle today, but these are made of crappy aluminum and were DEFINITELY designed to be painted. Either way I got the front end back together for what I hope is the last time, well at least the steering head portion. Got the "new" old windshield mounted up, I had to drill holes, cause only the center lined up, no big deal. It's the same size as the other but has a light tint and is pretty clean for its age.

Bought alot of stuff off this 85 for next to nothing...$145.00, had to drive 250 miles to get it, but still......

I'm almost ready to fire her up. Spent the morning spacing the tank up to gain clearance for the HS40 that was hitting the tank. I will make an aluminum spacer to drop it by 1/2" in the future for the Ram Jet manifold. They make a manifold for a Shovel to drop it, but I can make a spacer for cheaper. Probably won't get to much over the next few days, it'll be above 105 for the next 4 days, I'll have a little time in the mornings but it gets HOT pretty quick.

Thanks, she a pure 20 footer....lol. There's lotsa nicks and gouges in the paint, looks better in pics than it is. I have another set of tins that will eventually get painted.

For all intent and purpose this "build" thread is done! SHE'S A RIDER AGAIN!

Went out for an extended ride this morning after hitting the gas station and am happy with her. All the SCARY handling issues are gone and she can be flicked around without getting upset. The suspension upgrades are AWERSOME!!!! I hit bumps, holes, and dips at different speeds and they just get soaked up with no bottoming and tracks like she's on rails.

Happy camper now......time to load her in the F350 and make a run to Oregon for tags.
