Dumba$$ move of the day

Seems it's getting to be a regular occurrence so thought I'd start a thread so everyone can laugh (or cry) with me, or at me, whichever you prefer.

Monday - came home to find chartreuse green shutters on the house (which I had actually picked out and paid for!)

Tuesday or Wednesday (I forget which) - came home to find kelly green shutters on the house (which I also picked out!)

Thursday - got a pedicure on my lunch break then went to the gym after work and ran in new running shoes and fresh, smooth, buffed, and de-calloused feet, which quickly resulted in blisters on the tender arch of both feet! Ouch!

Friday - stopped by the tanning bed after work, since I didn't think it would be wise to run again on already blistered feet. Tanned in the same level bed I always do for the same amount of time, but at a different location. The end result? More blisters and bright red skin all the way down one leg and half-way down the other, not to mention the burned butt and tummy. I noticed it immediately, and anyone who has been burned in a tanning bed knows how it continues to intensify for several hours post-tanning.

I think I'll sleep in tomorrow... maybe all day. I'm afraid to get out of bed.

I'd tell you to practice some extreme self-care and go get a pedicure, but maybe not! I'm sorry you've had such a rough week! I hope your weekend is grand!

Tan lines.......Tan lines.......Tan lines are sexy. It can get worse. Have a Starbucks, go shopping at the mall, get some P.F. Chang's takeout, Noodles will make it all better...you'll see.

One of those weeks, huh? And I'm with Tonya - I haven't found many problems that a good pedicure can't solve. Next time you get one, just stop there!

At least you have nowhere to go but up. A nice Seven and Seven would do wonders for your state-o-mind I am sure.
