Looks like a blast!

I am so bummed that I couldn't make this trip. I've been out of the boot (down to a brace) for a couple of weeks now and have one more appointment before I get cleared to resume normal activities. Looking forward to next years adventure, whatever it might be!

We did, indeed, Billy.

The Camping Tour next year is called, "The Big 7-OH Motorcycle Camping Tour". Several of the people that usually go are pushing for Glacier National Park as our first camping venu. 3 nights there and then drop back down into Yellowstone and Teton before finding new and exciting campgrounds down the west side of Wyoming and Colorado before heading home. I'm trying to work it into a 14 day tour. Glacier requires 3 days of long-hard Interstate riding just to get there. But the trip back should be much more relaxing with multiple nights in the campgrounds.

We didn't see nearly as much wildlife in Yellowstone as expected. Turns out, we didn't go looking at the right times. I wanna see grizzly bears, wolves, foxes, coyotes and the like. We also got rained out after Old Faithful where we'd scheduled 4 or 5 stops to see features. Yellowstone is probably the best camping experiences we've had. Glacier promises to be even better if this trip materializes.

One more note, Billy.

It's been almost 2 weeks and I'm just getting over the Motorcycle Camping withdrawals. Waking up each morning in a Yellowstone forest was surreal. Having just my motorcycle, camping gear, and friends each day was a blast. This past trip ranks up there with the best vacation trip I've ever taken.

OK on seeing Glacier Park, we who have been there have decided that the best way is to come into the park from the Hungry Horse side of the park, go all the way to the top look out / view area and then come back out to the Hungry Horse gate.

The reasoning behind that is, most of the awesome views are from that side up to the view summit and back out the way we came in.

Because every-time we stopped to take pictures of something in front of us, we would turn around and see some awesome sights behind us.

I hope we can include Glacier and that's probably good advice. But because of where we're coming from, we'll have to enter at St Mary's. BUT, my tentative planning has us staying 3 nights (two full days) in Glacier, doing ranger-led hikes and lake boat tours while there. If we can pull this off, it'll be good.
