4 qts of Rotella T 15w-40 and 2 qts of Rotella T6 5w-40
The Vegas has a 6 qt capacity.

Another great report.

I'm running all 5w-40 synthetic Rotella T6 now. Got it on sale for $20.00 a jug.
Love it!!! even with the cost of this report I'm ahead.

I'm going to send one more sample in of the T6 at 5000 miles to see and then just ride.

Any explanation for the steady wear metal trend?

In any case. I'd be interested in the source for them this far in.

If i see that at work after a change i'll run a ferrogram looking for stuff the ICP missed.

If the ferrogram is too pricey, maybe they can run a WPC (wear particle concentration) or particle count for cheap.

I'd lean to particle count.

Also, Visc is borderline in both, that oil isn't holding up too well.

Would need a new sample to tell for sure if it is breakdown, but those values are a concern.
