The wonderful Cyn was very impressed with how much passenger space there was, and with the wind protection from the very tall shield. (I see a tourpack relocator and windshield change in my near future.)

Two up the ride was damn good. Even loaded. Huge amounts of storage on the thing.

I was impressed with its torque. A few times in tight curves I should have shifted down 1 more gear, but the bike pulled very well despite my laziness.

We both noticed less heat than my old Ultra gives off, thanks to the large adjustable vents in the lowers.

It felt long at first. As Mike said, the fairing is way out in front. I was comfortable with the bar reach. (37 inch sleeve, fairly long arms).

I tried to use the non existent heel shifter a few times. It is an option. The long floorboards are nice, but I would have liked something akin to highway pegs. The Vision has floorboard extenders. I don't know if they are an option on the CCT. Sorry, but I forget who asked if the tubular engine guards are available without the lowers, instead of the flat engine guards. They are. When I dropped the rental off, they had a red CC on the floor with everything else blacked out. That was a nice looking bike.

The video Noodles posted said it was difficult to drag hard parts. I found it easy when working on the MSF range at the Harley dealer we stopped at. I was able to drag them on the street, too.

Oh far from it, I think the bike's excellent. Excellent to the point that I'd buy one if I were looking for a big tourer.

Mike,

How tall are you?

I'm just curious as I would think a taller person would like the higher windshield and further reach handle bars, but without a frame of reference for your height I'm not sure how to take your comments on these two things.

Anyone,

Is this a fixed fairing or a front end mounted fairing bike? The gas tank looks large, so I'm guessing at least 6 gallons?

Yeah, they're not totally stupid.
They don't want something nobody will dance with.

I'm 6'2", Mike's around my height.

I'd have to do a shorter windshield, as I don't like looking through them. And I thought the riding position was fantastic.
