Fellow Rider "Cowboy Curtiss" trades in his '14 103 Wet-Head Ultra Glide for a "new" Road King...
Cowboy Curtiss has had it with his '14 103 wet head. In the shop for four recalls and two warranty issues in six Months. After a Road Glide and two Ultra Glide's he says he's going back to basics. Tired of the new model year issues but equally tired of all the "gizmos"...that's what he says.
He'll be a getting a "new" 2013 110 CVO Blue Road King. There are actually three of them remaining in inventory. It's being shipped from Kansas City. I love the guy...but I'm concerned he's "jumping around" a bit too much and maybe over reacting. MOCO will get the issues resolved, I'm sure of that. It's his money and his decision though.... Go figure... |

All manufacturers have lemons, and he obviously got one. Sorry about that. I'd likely do the same if I had that many issues to contend with.

I don't know what his "warranty issues" were...
But there have been only 3 recalls, each of them took no more than 30 minutes to complete on mine. There was a "service bulletin" out, but I had that taken care of during one of the recalls. I get it, and to each his own. My grandmother will never have a smart phone because of the "fancy gadgets" on it. Quote:
