The Big Texan Steak Ranch
Any of y'all ever visited it?
Dined there? If so, how was it? Worth the trip?

If it's the one in Amarillo......yep...been there a few times.
Really good food well prepared. But it is basic meat and potatoes, if you know what i mean.

I found the steak to be acceptable at best. It was a little on the tough side. Having said that, it's a must see, must go, must do kind of place in Amarillo, Texas on Route 66.

We go most times that we travel to or through Amarillo. It is more of a destination than an epicurean delight. That said, the steak is not horrible, also not top notch.

Been there twice, was a good steak. Was worth the visit to see and dine.
And Cadillac Ranch is somewhat nearby. There is a steakhouse in Tucson, I believe the Silver Saddle, steaks done over local mesquite wood. Yummm. Then there's the dam bar and grill steakhouse in Kingman AZ, been getting smaller and smaller portions since 2008.

Agreed on the Silver Saddle in Tucson. I've consumed vast quantities of mesquite grilled bovine deliciousness in their establishment.

There is a lady that ate two of their 72 oz. steaks with all the sides in like 20 minutes or so. It's on Youtube somewhere.

It's a fun place to go to say you've been there. Steaks are good.
