yes brakes are a good thing to have on a duece...

I have gone back from lyndalls to hd brakes the lyndalls have less brake dust, but they weren't as good in the rain (on my 2000rk), in 42k miles I have only changed the pads once on my ultra so I don't see why to use anything else unless you have wide white walls!

I switched to EBC (sp?) which is what the indy sells here. The stock pads ruin whitewalls quickly; the EBCs make much less dust and no noise.

Oh, Yeah, they seem to fade a good bit less as well.

I love the Lyndall Z Pads.
Confused yet?
I don't know about the new Brembo equipped bikes, but the pad material (dust) from the OEM pads on my '05 caused a wonderful galvanic corrosion on the naked aluminum wheels Harley cheaply supplied from the factory.

Pick up a set of Brembo calipers and rotors and an Master cylinder on fleabay, it'll improve the braking tremendously and everything will swap over as long as you use ALL the late model parts.
