08 and up Brembo

Conversion is in the works for the front of the EG. Was looking around and saw a killer deal on take off calipers with new brake pads and brake lines. Lots of rotors on eBay at good prices. Just need late model master cylinder/lever and clutch perch.

I'll keep me eyes peeled fer ya. eBay has them often if you do a search for touring parts. That's how I got the matching set for Blondies Fatboy.

Here's one side you'll need..... For the ones without levers, I have a spare set you can have.....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/290711744335#ht_500wt_922

http://www.ebay.com/itm/360455438892#ht_587wt_922

http://www.ebay.com/itm/360454223039

quick search turned up nothing clutch side. But I didn't dig too deep. May want to check an see I'd the VRod master cylinder will work. Clutch on those is hydro though.

Just curious about why the clutch side has to be changed to do this.
What am I missing

Style and shape changed, so to have matching levers and housings, you need both.

I changed to Brembos, didn't change the clutch, I forgot about the difference until you mentioned it. Really not noticeable behind the fairing.

Awesome up grade! you can use your stock master cylinder and brake lines. Just rebuild the master and flush out the dot 5 brake fluid if you are going to use dot 4.

Well that's news. You have any take off rotors for sale?

Works much better with the Brembo MC, I tried it both ways. Lever effort is really stiff with the original MC
