Pipes, SE A/C, ECM Flash

Just got my 07 Ultra back yesterday, had Thunderheader 2-1, SE A/C and a Flash to the ECM done, I had originally wanted the SERT but was told there was a newer version to be released in a couple months an to wait for it as it would be better. So my question is this... is anyone else running similar mods without a SERT/PCIII ?

I have the "J" revision of the SERT software, I used that on my '07 Ultra when I installed the SE A/C & Vance & Hines mufflers. H-D updates the software periodically, you can buy the software upgrade for $20.00.

Word on the street is that the timing tables on the new SERT software are completely redone, to the tune of 100 degree cooler exhaust temps in some cases.

I will vouch for what Mega says. Before I did the work, the thing ran so hot it felt like my nuts were cooking! After I downloaded the canned map, it felt cooler. I tweaked the closed-loop bias table a bit and changed some of the open loop cells. Now it runs way cooler, and it's got a bunch more get-up-and-go.

The software that isn't even on the shelf yet is the version that's supposed to be 100 degrees cooler. The previous versions were much better than stock, but the new version coming out is supposed to be better yet. It's what "He Who Must Not Be Named" will be using on mine.
And those V&H Ovals do sound good. Glad you like them!

Thanks for the responses, I'm tryin to track down a SERT, just don't feel confident running the bike without it at this point.

If you are not going radical, maybe Stage1 stuff, I have heard good things lately about the V&H Fuel Pak. I am considering that myself as although SERT is the best from an overall function, you still need someone who can get it's full use. Fuel Pak is somewhat limited, but does seem to work well and is easy to do at home, no computer, etc.
