Well forget the SR-43 in Tampa. I road from 75 south on 301 to past 60 to 75 again looking for SR-43 and didn’t find any signs, turned around and road back. No signs on that side either.
Well better luck next time.

This website indicates there is a short posted section in Palmetto.

Looks like the Florida SR43 is between Masonic Park and Palmetto (301 is SR43)

Got this off Wikipedia:

Florida State Road 43 is the secret state designation for U.S. Route 301 between Business US 41 in Palmetto, and Harney Road in Thonotosassa. As with much of US 301 between Palmetto and Bushnelll, SR 43 runs along the DeSoto Trail. Names of the road include 10th Street West, and US 301 in Manatee County, and US 301 and Tampa East Boulevard in Hillsborough County.

8-Balls,
Where are you finding all the state shields? I have been looking for a Larimer County Colorado 43 shield but can't find one.
I found Colorado 7 just need to re size it.

I start here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...bered_highways

Then change "Kansas" in the URL to "Colorado" or whatever... it will give you a list of highways, state roads, etc. I took a picture of the CO 43 state road and photoshopped it. If you have a good straight on shot of the road sign, I can fix it for you.

Why would you want that dastardly CO 7....????

If anyone needs one made, let me know...

Wikpedia doesn't have much for county road shields...

http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=40.45...&spn=0.11,0.18

Larimer county road 43 is also called the "Devils Gulch Road"

RTD and myself did it and the Colorado State Highway 7 to rub gAzinta noses into that have never rode to a 7

This is about the straightest shot I got and if I knew what font is used I could shop the Saguache county sign into a Larimer county sign.....

Here's a map of Eddy County road 43, aka Thistle Rd. It is in north central Eddy county. It is 2 miles off of US 285 5 miles south of Artesia, NM.

You need to take CR39 (4 Dinkus Rd) phrom US 285 to CR34 (Lake Rd), then south on CR34 to CR43 (Thistle Rd). There is a Junction sign on CR34, both north and south of CR43. There is another sign on Thistle, about 40 yards phrom CR34. Another sign about .5 miles east on CR43, and another about 1 mile phrom there were it turns to gravel.
