IIRC the rear is only lowered on the "Cool" models, (like in the case of the SG) the front remains at the "stock" ride height.


I went from my '06 RG to the '11 and then '15 EG and I have to say I remain much dryer on the rain on the EG.

It all a matter of volume. On our last trip to PA in 2018, there was nothing dry on me, even under the rain suit. A drowned rat would have been drier than I was when I got to the hotel. Bike actually tried to quit on me 2 or 3 times before I got off the interstate.
