The heat is oppresive right now as the humidity is up and the temps as well.
We've made some progress, anyway. All eighteen poles are up and the framing is moving along. Now more rain is forecast, but we needed a little break anyway.

Oh boy! Am I ever!!

I am constantly amazed by how much slower I move these days!
I've been wanting to add in a loft but the trusses won't support one (without buying much beefier trusses) so I had given up on a loft. And then... in the back of a storage lot at work I found two 30' I-Beams..... and the boss says I can has the beams!
Not going to delay getting them out of the yard, lest someone claim them, so while borrowing the itty bitty Bobcat from work, I loaded them up. My daughter says I need a longer trailer.... I say, NayNay.

Yeah, trusses don't stand up to a "good" snow load very well, not the same as some real rafters.


Lots of buildings out this way went from peaked roofs to flat roofs this past winter...

I'm pretty sure that's covered in this thread already!
Like a gun safe, any garage is too small right away.

This will be 30x40 enclosed plus a 30x10 'porch'. Two ten foot doors and an 18 foot; its essentially a four-car garage. I don't have room for much bigger due to utility easements (and I'm out of funds as well).
It'll just have to do.

However, yes, it's too small!

I haven't eaten at a Mc D's in oh about 6-7 years now and it was a Big Breakfast in Conway at the Hwy 65 location. Lots of good clean cut college kids working there. I believe it's most likely the cleanest location in the whole of Arkansas. It's been 8 or so since I've eaten anything else there. US Pizza is my go to place for wifi, but finances haven't allowed for even a coldie of late wilst I peruse the innerweb. I'm on an uphill swing so....
Oh and Taco Bell hasn't been in my view for 20 years. I could be sitting outside of one starving and wouldn't eat anything off their menu
