Think we're movin
We just got back home in Menifee, CA at 4am today...drove 1,135 miles straight through. We were wiped out till 3pm. Anyhow our son is having some health issues (still not resolved) and we've been up in Enterprise, OR for the last 5 weeks helping out and living in our truck camper.
We were tied to socal because I had a contract with the Barstow M.C. Logistics base. I told them that I wasn't going to renew a few months ago and I received an official letter last week releasing me from my contract a month early. We found a little 2 bdrm 1 bath house around the corner from his house that will be coming on the market in the next month. Our DIL's best friends, mother owns it as a rental and is selling it. As of now we will have first crack at it when it's ready. So I think we're going to be moving!! It's not the optimum place we want to live and retire, but it's 1000% better than Komiefornia!! Work is plentiful and we know a ton of people there already. When we figure out where we want to retire we'll use it as a rental. That's all I got for now....fingers crossed that all works out.

Thanks guys......gotta put Alma back together now. She'll be a lot easier to move is she runs and rides.

A bit of good news! They believe they found the source of the "bleed", surgery 0700 tomorrow....fingers crossed!

Talked with him this morning......it was a arterial hemorrhoid high in the colon. They are 95% sure that they got it taken care of....it was gone when they went into surgery, but they had mapped it the previous day, so they knew where it was supposed to be and removed it.
I may be leaving for Oregon again to be there for recovery, will know more later today. Good news either way...........
